Alone in the world, stay of 2 or 3 nights at the Buron

You can sleep from 2 to 6 people, each of the 3 cabins having a double bed, the unique opportunity to share a wonderful weekend with friends or family in an atypical setting!

Enjoy a unique place to get together. In our buron, comfort is present with a lounge, double-sided fireplace, old-fashioned stove, large table made of ash wood carved from the block (more than 3m long), large lounge under the vault, dry toilet....

The pig lodge is also equipped with a wood-fired boiler for hot water production so you can take a shower in the mountains at an altitude of 1400 m!!! without electricity!!!

Enjoy an unusual stay of 2 or 3 nights, immersed in our Buron at an altitude of 1400 meters.

Stay itinerary:

- Arrival around 3 p.m. at the Inn, handing over of the keys and departure for the hike

- 2 hours of hiking to our Buron de Bâne at 1400 m, following part of the "Ma Montagne" trail, a contemporary work of art in homage to and in memory of the buronniers

- First evening:

• The buronnier's basket is delivered to you with the traditional cheese soup (the real buronniers' dish), cold meats, seasonal salad, cold meats, cheese, tart or clafoutis... Everything you need for a truly simple moment of sharing.                 
• - For the 2nd and 3rd, gift baskets will be left before your arrival.
• We do not offer a specific menu without lactose, gluten, cheese, or other ingredients.
• We will also leave a cooler in the lodge with breakfast inside.
• "Timeless" evenings lit by candlelight in the middle of the Auvergne volcanoes.
• This is a nature stay with hiking boots, backpack, underwear, and a guidebook.
• We will ask you to contact us a week in advance to see the weather forecast to confirm your departure.
• FOR YOUR SAFETY, WE ARE THE ONLY DECIDER MAKERS OF DEPARTURE DEPENDING ON WEATHER CONDITIONS

At the end of your stay, we ask you to vacate the buron around 11 a.m. and to tidy up as little as possible.

If you want to make the most of the mountains, you can climb higher, a 1-1.5 hour walk to Puy Gros, where you will discover a breathtaking 360° view of the Aubrac, the Cère Valley and the Chaîne des Puys.
